IT Works are one of the leading UK and international niche IT, Business systems and Digital Marketing recruitment consultancies. They provide contract and permanent recruitment expertise globally and are considered experts within all their markets working with clients and candidates across more than 20 countries.
As part of an exciting growth strategy, the business required a more aligned and developed leadership team to support the directors of the business to achieve their business objectives.
Following consultation with the directors and the head of HR, the team undertook a complete leadership 360 assessment of the team leaders and managers across the business and developed a comprehensive outline for a six month leadership programme to rollout across the business.
The programme was delivered monthly in house, with a series of outcome specific objectives identified for each of the managers during the course of the programme, to ensure the new ideas were both implemented and measured. This also incorporated a number of innovation projects that were presented back to the senior leadership team at the last session, each focusing on generating an additional £80k in revenue and/or cost savings for the business.
The feedback from the programme was excellent, with each of the attendees achieving their personal leadership objectives as agreed at the start of the programme. The leadership team is now more unified and collaboratively working towards the strategic objectives of the entire business moving forward.
Part of the initiatives included the development of an IT Works specific online learning and development, HR and intranet system (Talent Hub™) which is being rolled out across all the employees as well as any new starters to the business, to reduce costs involved with training and developing IT Works’ personnel, to improve communication and collaborative working and to ensure the consistent adherence to the IT Works way of working.
