Telesales Executive

Job Title: Telesales Executive (two positions available)

Location: Ashford, Kent (Mersham le Hatch)

Salary Range: 

Basic £16k to £22k, dependent on experience

Year One OTE: £28k to £35k, uncapped commission structure


Based in our stunning offices in the Kent countryside, just outside Ashford, we are looking for two telesales executives to join us.  Have you got a huge amount of charisma, a real can-do attitude, enjoy selling on the phone and engaging with customers?

Expectations of the Role

Working within a team of other telesales executives you'll be set targets and strategies by the Sales Manager.

Your day will be mostly spent calling prospective target clients, typically senior managers of recruitment businesses, to explain the suite of services and products of The Recruitment Network and arranging appointments for our field based Regional Directors to follow up.

Shy, retiring types need not apply!

You need to have plenty of confidence to be a successful telephone sales executive as a charming and persuasive personality will help you sell. Other qualities that will help you shine in this role are:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • A polite and friendly manner (being rude never gets you anywhere)
  • Lots of initiative
  • A positive attitude
  • The ability to think on your feet

It’s also important to be able to deal with negative responses from customers who don't want to talk to you, and above all, you must enjoy the buzz of working under pressure and meeting targets.
