Access Group

Gold Partners, Access Group, provide business software to many sectors, including the recruitment industry. Last week they posted an article all about why recruitment agencies don’t grow. In the article they run through 5 key points that may prevent a recruitment business from growing and progressing.

Have you ever thought about being a destination employer? It’s not just for Google, Airbnb and Apple, Access have written all about how your recruitment agency can become a destination employer too, this article is definitely worth a read.

If you look around the train on your morning commute you’re bound to see most people engrossed in videos on their phones. Access have written a blog article all about why video on LinkedIn makes sense for recruiters. They run through some tips on what to use video for which will give you ideas to get making your own videos for your LinkedIn profile.

It’s nearly here! The fast approaching GDPR deadline is not far away but TRN Gold Partner, Bullhorn, have you covered. Their recent article covers what recruitment agencies need to know to be GDPR compliant. With actionable points and a downloadable eBook, this is a must read if you are still preparing for the deadline.

Providing an excellent client and candidate experience can really set you and your recruitment business ahead of the competition. But how do you do that? Bullhorn have a blog all about how to go the extra mile for your candidates and clients. Each of the areas in the article gives details from a candidate and a client perspective to really help you tailor the experience to them.

6CATS International

6CATS International Chairman and TRN Board Member, Graham Palfrey-Smith, was on Harrington Starr’s Recruiter 360 TV this week sharing his expertise from his extensive experience in all facets of the recruitment industry. Watch the full video here.

With agencies already seeing an impact from the Criminal Finance Act, you need to be taking steps to protect your firm against possible investigations. 6CATS have written an article on how to protect your firm, which has some good points on what to do.

Thomas International

It’s not all articles, as TRN Gold Partner, Thomas International, have made a podcast on future-proofing your future leaders. Amir Qureshi, Thomas International’s CEO, Craig Howells, Internal Sales Manager, and People Academy’s Miles Henson answer these questions. Brookson One

TRN Gold Partners, Brookson One, are contractor accountants who have helped more than 90,000 contractors over the last 20 years. They regularly host webinars on a variety of topics to help contractors, from setting up a limited company to maximising their earnings.

BlueSky PR

With JD Wetherspoon recently deciding to shut down all of it’s social media channels, TRN Gold Partners, BlueSky PR, investigate into whether a modern brand survive without a presence on social media. An interesting article with thoughts on the area, plus tips on social strategy and engaging with customers.

One interesting point in the decision to shut down their social media from Wetherspoons, was that their employees could get on with their jobs. In another article that was recently released from BlueSky, they give 3 reasons why your recruitment agency should outsource social media.

At TRN we do team up with other businesses to write guest blogs. Following on from one of our Taster sessions, this week BlueSky wrote a guest blog article for us on 5 tips for a fool proof effective marketing strategy to stand out from the crowd which was one of the key areas that came from the session.

Addictivity

TRN Bronze Partners, Addictivity, who design best in class recruitment websites, wrote an article recently on 5 pieces of content you need on your recruitment website. The article goes into details about the types of content that works well on websites to draw traffic in, with a video on there too.

This week Alex Friars, Founding Director of Addictivty, spoke at the REC quarterly marketing forum on building and maintaining a marketing brand identity.
